WHAT IS IT?
The Tails of the WorldTM Collective is a global movement of international professional pet photographers, united by a shared mission to celebrate dogs, and support pets in need. Tails of the World TM brings together beautiful photography, heartfelt stories and a community of dog lovers to make a real difference—one book, one photographer, and one wagging tail at a time.
To date, we have raised over £130,000 for animal charities across the globe.

Each year, professional pet photographers around the world unite to raise funds for animal rescue. Tails of the World is an annual international photography book celebrating dogs from around the globe. Featuring stunning portraits by professional pet photographers, each edition showcases local dogs in their hometowns - from bustling cities to breathtaking landscapes. As a collective we have raised over £130,00,000 across the globe.
This year, we're on a mission to go BIGGER
Join the Tails of the World movement! With your £75 charity donation which will be donated to Leicester Animal Aid you will receive a dog photoshoot here in Leicestershire and your dog will be featured in the Tails of the World Book this year. This beautiful book is a celebration of pets around the world, with all proceeds donated to animal welfare.

GEMMA CALDERON DOG PHOTOGRAPHY I am one of the official TOTW 2025 photographers and I’m now taking applications for limited edition Tails of the World: Leicestershire photoshoots. These photoshoots will take place in the heart of Leicestershire, capturing unique images that will feature in the book.
100% of these session fees are donated to LEICESTER ANIMAL AID and one photo from each session is guaranteed to be included in the book.
All proceeds from the book sales are donated to Geelong Animal Welfare Society.
You’ll also have the opportunity to view and purchase keepsake photographic artwork from your unique doggy photoshoot.

In a nutshell
It’s completely FREE to APPLY for a Tails of the World Photo session! If you are one of the lucky 10 chosen to participate in this AMAZING book you will need to pay the £75 charity donation fee! 100% of this will be donated to Leicester Animal Aid.
You will then be booked on to one of ten limited edition photo sessions within Leicestershire. These sessions, will capture the beauty of your pooch. One image will be selected by me to feature in an international dog photography book that will be sold across the world, and will be available to purchase in November 2025.
No digitals, prints or products are included in the donation fee. But these can be purchased post session. Professional image packages & products start at £125.
You will receive a gallery of approx 5 images to choose from.
All monies raised from the book sale will be donated to Geelong Animal Welfare Society.

About the Charities
Leicester Animal Aid
Leicester Animal Aid has been in operation since 1956. At their site in Huncote, Leicestershire. They provide care for up to 30 cats and 40 dogs at any one time in purpose-built, quality accommodation.
GEELONG ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY
Geelong Animal Welfare Society is dedicated to the welfare of companion animals. They care for and rehome lost or relinquished pets and provide community education & services that enable responsible animal ownership.
